My first live concert was Wishbone Ash at Newcastle City Hall in October 1974. A friend had said it would be mayhem with everyone storming the stage and that I would be trampled underfoot. How wrong he was. There was a stampede, but I was part of it. I have loved live music ever since and have always, always had a radio in every room in every house I have lived in since then.
Radio has provided me with so many “stop everything now and listen”moments throughout my life. It still does. I hope that the music I play on my show will either provide memories or will stop you in your tracks as you listen for the first time to something wonderful and inspirational.
